We’re thrilled to announce that the Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County has been nominated for the “Community Brain Injury Association of the Year” by the Ontario Brain Injury Association and PIA Law.
This award is to recognize the non-profit brain injury association which provides exemplary service to the brain injury community and continues to find innovative means to support brain injury survivors and their families.
The winner of the award will be determined by the following criteria:
Strong advocacy and positive outcomes for its clients, years of service, credentials, number of public votes and supporting testimonials.
So, here’s where you can help. There will be an opportunity for you to vote for the best brain injury association. Voting starts on August 6 and goes to September 6. The winner will be announced on September 11.
On the voter’s page you can provide a testimonial. Tell them how BIAWE has helped you or your family on your journey to wellness, provided you with support when you needed it or anything else you can think of. This will be a key consideration in the decision making process but not the determining factor.
The winner will be chosen by the Nomination Panel consisting of two members from OBIA and one member of PIA Law.
